Water quality is very good, and the smallmouth bass population is healthy and thriving. The river boasts excellent hatches of Hexagenia, Ephoron and Isonychia mayflies, as well as abundant caddis, damselfly and stonefly emergences. Visit once, and you'll be hooked for life.
